In July 2009, City of Life Ministries started in downtown Lancaster. Pastor Josh & Dori Dexter and a few other followers of Christ stepped out in faith, taking the gospel message to the streets by encountering many broken people where they were. Through seeing and loving others through the eyes of Christ, relationships were formed, and lives began to be transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through the years, as the ministry and the church have grown, the heart of City of Life is still the same: to be a diverse city that begins with real people with real life problems which equals one solution - God.

City of Life is a place where everyday life happens, a place where you can worship, grow, be encouraged, challenged, and empowered to live as Christ.
