God

We Believe God is the Creator and Sustainer of life. We believe he is a triune God, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that they are one in the same.  We believe He is still at work inside of his creation today. We believe He created the universe out of love and created man to share and to live in his love.

 

Jesus

We believe that Jesus has always been with God even at the beginning of creation. We believe that Jesus in his great love for us came to earth, by being born of the Virgin Mary, for mission and purpose. While on this earth, Jesus lived a sinless life, performed many miracles, and taught us how to live in relationship to God and with others. We believe that Jesus went to the cross and died for our sin then on the third day he rose triumphant over sin and death and is now sitting at the right hand of His Father. We believe he will come back for us defeating Satan once and for all and restoring his kingdom here.

 

Humanity

We believe that all mankind was made in the image of God and created with purpose. Mankind decided not to live within that purpose, so in the act of disobedience toward God sin entered into the world and we abandoned our perfect relationship with God and the perfection we were created in. We also believe that mankind does not have to live in continuous separation from God. There is Hope! That same loving God who created us in his image gave us a way to be restored and renewed back into relationship with Him, through His Son Jesus Christ.

 

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift given to all from God. This gift of salvation is not based on being good enough or based on any merit we can earn or accomplish on our own. This salvation is solely based in the selfless loving act of Jesus dying on the cross. We believe it is essential to accept this free gift if we are to be restored to the new life. The way to accept this free gift is the repenting of our sin. The act of repenting is more than being sorry for our sin, it is the actual turning away from our sin. In this moment of repentance we are cleansed set free from our sin and the guilt that comes from our sin.  Now we are repositioned in Christ we are his sons and daughters joint heirs with him able to receive the promise of his word for our lives.

 

Holy Spirit

Jesus promised us that he would send His Spirit to live within the hearts of all that believe and trust in him. We believe that Spirit Jesus promised came with great power and authority.  This power of the Holy Spirit is what enables the ones who trust in Jesus to live a regenerated and a sanctified life. This same Spirit also was sent to be our comfort in times of stress trouble or deep lost.  We believe The Holy Spirit is what convicts our hearts of sin and is the transforming power that sustains and keeps the believer. The Holy Spirit also teaches us and guides us in truth of God way of living. It also empowers the believers with spiritual gifts that are to be used in serving and building up the church to move forward in Christ so we can be his witnesses to the Gospel message.  

 

Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without errors. We believe it contains the words of life that gives us instruction, direction, reproof, correction and encouragement in our daily lives. It is to be studied meditated upon and applied. It is the essential manual to living the Christian life.

 

Atonement

In short Jesus paid our debt of sin our penalty for our sin and offers us Salvation, saving grace instead of what we deserve from a Holy God. This debt we owed was paid in full on the cross and within the resurrection of Jesus Christ triumphantly over our sin and death.

 

Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both saved and lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life (Heaven), and that they are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation (Hell). (1 Corinthians 15, Romans 14:11-12, Revelations 20:11-15)

 

Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ made up of those who have accepted salvation through confession and repentance of their sins, and now follow Jesus not in just their words but also in their actions. We believe there is universal church of believers those of the past in connection with the present believers that makes up the universal church body of believers.  We believe the mission and the purpose of the church has never changed. We are called to go and make disciples by reaching the lost through the love of Jesus Christ. The local church does this through teaching, training, equipping, and empowering others to Go and make disciples within and outside of their four walls. The local church and the universal church is to live in unity and love so that the world can see Christ within their lives.
