In Romans, Paul describes the church is designed to function. We believe that "volunteering" is a part of the equation. We are all part of the body of Christ. Just as the parts of the body function under the direction of the brain, we also are to work together under the command of Christ. God gives each of us gifts so that we can build build up His church. Our role is to be faithful and seek ways to serve others with what Christ has given us.
